  • How can I track my courier/parcel?
    Don’t Worry, as soon as your shipment is picked & booked by our representative you will be given a shippers copy which will have a tracking number for your shipment which can be used to track your shipment on our website. Also, you will receive Notifications/Alerts on Email as well as Via SMS also.
  • Do You Provide Door Pickup Service?
    Yes, we do pick packages from almost any part of the country. Pickup charges may or may not apply depending on your pickup location. Additional charges may apply for out of area pickup or remote area pickup. Please contact our support team to learn about pickup charges for your shipment. Once you schedule your shipment on our website we will notify you whether the shipment is out of area coverage or not.
  • How safe is to ship with Shipmiles?
    Shipmiles works with reputed brokers and shipping agents at the origin & destination point of your package. We are an authorized agent for major shipping liners including Economy Express & International Express.
  • Do Shipmiles Provide Packing Services?
    Yes the company provides packaging services as per the consent of the sender which is chargeable according to the type of packing (Wooden/ Thermacole etc.)
  • What is the Mode of Payment?
    Shipmiles accepts payments in cash and also through NEFT/RTGS, IMPS, Debit / Credit Card, PayPal, western union, Paytm or any other mode Debit / Credit Card attract a transaction fee of Rs 50 or 3% of the transaction value which is to be borne by the customer. Paypal attracts a fee of 12% ( FOREX fee and transaction fee) which is to be borne by the customer.
  • Can We Send Fragile Items?
    Yes, you can send fragile items, but additional packaging and handling charges may apply. Please contact our support team to learn about the additional charges and packaging requirements for fragile items.
  • What about the custom duty charges?
    Custom duty charges are separate from shipping charges and are never included in the shipping quote. Custom charges are ascertained by the customs officer at the destination country and cannot be ascertained at the time of shipment. Custom duties are determined by destination country based on the type of shipment, the value of the shipment, the content of shipment, and more. Please contact our customer support team if you have additional questions on custom duties.
  • How can I minimize custom charges?
    The lower the value of your shipment, the lower the customs charges. However, if you provide an inaccurate valuation on your customs invoice, your shipment may be questioned by customs. This would delay your delivery and may result in increased charges.
  • Do I need to go to the customs office to clear my shipment?
    No, Shipmiles and their destination agent will arrange for the customs clearance process and your shipment will be delivered to the door.
  • How fast is the customs procedure?
    An average customs procedure takes around 30 - 60 minutes. But in the course of this procedure, there are reasonable doubts about the accuracy of the declared information. Hence, the verification process includes a possible physical check of the consignment contents which can delay the delivery process usually by one working day.
  • What am I not allowed to send to customs areas?
    There is a complete list of certain items that you can see in our prohibited items section which is strictly prohibited by Indian customs. The list of goods excluded from transport varies from country to country and is governed by the laws and regulations of the country of destination.
  • What is actual, dimensional, and chargeable weight?
    All shipments are charged at chargeable weight, chargeable weight is the weight that is higher between the actual weight and dimensional weight. For example, if the actual weight of your package is 5kg and the dimensional weight is 10kg, the chargeable weight will be 10kg and the shipment will be charged according to this weight.
  • I have paid for guaranteed delivery, but my parcel was delayed in customs. Can I get a refund for the shipping cost?
    Our money-back guarantee scheme does not cover delays outside of our control. As customs clearance is a government-controlled activity, we are unable to control any related delivery delays.
