Refund Policy

Welcome to Shipmiles


You (visitor) are bounded by the following Refund policy for booking order at Shipmiles:

  1. Refunds will be provided based on the service definitions on the specific service selected at payment; please review your service definition.
  2. All refund claims can be made either in writing or via email (verbally will not be acceptable). The following information is required:
    • A. Your Shipmiles AWB copy
    • B. If a service failure; your parcel tracking number will be required.
  3. Please note that refunds can't be processed for any consequential loss.
  4. Should a refund be appropriate, it shall be made back onto the card or payment method originally used to book the transaction – refunds can only be processed to the authorized shipper who booked the order.
  5. Refunds will be through the same online mode and take a little time to process as all refunds have to undergo a process to ensure that no collection took place.
  6. Time Limits for Claims: All claims must be submitted in writing to Shipmiles within 72 hours after the delivery or within 48 hours after the pickup (if shipment not forwarded or connected) from the date that Shipmiles accepted the shipment, failing which Shipmiles shall have no liability whatsoever.
  7. Any other charges: Manpower charges, Cancellation Charges, Processing Charges, Labour Charges, Any other charges decided by the company at the time of cancellation (Non-Negotiable).
  8. Shipmiles has the complete authority to seize illegal shipments and register a case against the sender. In that case, no claim is liable to be processed.
  9. The payment made through a gateway charges a transaction fee which is borne by the customer and Shipmiles doesn't have a financial interest in it. If the customer doesn't want to pay that fee, he/she can use IMPS.
  10. There are some areas where we don't provide service and rely on the third party. Charges will be extra for those particular locations.
  11. The value of the parcels is insured up to USD 100 in case of operational loss. The remaining part is variable and depends on the value mentioned in the international invoice and the refund that the Company gets from the network. If the value of the parcel is less than USD 100, the refund amount depends on the amount granted by the network.
  12. The rate lists on this website are for sample use only. They might or might not be updated regularly due to changes in fuel charges and other updates. The rates communicated to the customers would be the final rates and would be non-negotiable.

Cancellation of order

The Company reserves the right to cancel any Service order without any explanation for doing so, under situation where the Company is not able to meet the requirement of the Service order placed or order so placed/cancelled does not comply with the policy of the Company or Service order has invalid address/incorrect information or for any other reason. However, the Company will ensure that any communication of cancellation of an order, so cancelled, is intimated within appropriate time to the concerned persons.

  1. Courier Booking Charges are non-refundable in-case the cancellation is done by the customer.
  2. Manpower charges, Cancellation Charges, Processing Charges, Labour Charges, Any other charges decided by company at the time of cancellation ( Non Negotiable).
